Google mail lets you set up as many email addresses as you like and this enables you to keep your private email address private and use the others as 'disposable' emails. When your level of spam reaches an annoying level, change email address!
If you want to use an email address and don't want it found by the spammers then you can use a program like jsGuard which encodes your email address on web pages wgere it appears so that spam spiders find it difficult or impossible to read your email address.

Keep Spyware at Bay
Spyware or adware items are continually infecting computers and most computers have no effective spyware removal program to combat them. The most frightening aspect is the frequency with which they appear in your computer.
According to a survey by America Online and the National Cyber Security Alliance, 91% of users questioned were familiar with the term spyware. Of these only half of the users believed that their computers were infected. However when their computers were scanned it was found that over 80% of their PCs had some type of spyware installed on them. The average number of spyware elements on each computer was close to 100 with one computer having well over a thousand.

Wireless burglar alarms are being used by more and more people because of their ease of use. As the name implies wireless burglar alarms have no wires and so can be used in places were wiring would be obtrusive. The various sensors are connected by radio waves to a central control panel.
The complete burglar alarm system can be controlled by a keypad. The keypad is used to arm or disarm the alarm system.
